Kanagawa · Yokohama Red Brick Warehouse
Start with the long brick facade, then notice the rails and heavy fire doors: a harbour walk through the working past of these warehouses.
A short visual note, not a full planning guide. This January 2025 photograph does not show current events or conditions.
Yokohama Red Brick Warehouse | January 2025; a dated exterior view, not a current event photograph.
Processing record before this delivery update: EXIF orientation applied where present; resized and WebP encoded. Full frame retained, without overlays, cropping or generative edits. Current delivery: WebP quality 80. The smallest approved WebP candidate is used; existing image URLs are retained. Each rendition retains its previous dimensions and composition; no additional crop, enlargement, colour adjustment, retouching or AI editing. Source material and prior delivery bytes are retained outside the public deployment.
Warehouse No. 2 was completed in 1911 and No. 1 in 1913; the complex reopened for culture and commerce in 2002. Look for the old railway rails, fire doors and hanging-door wheels described in the official guide. Our suggested route pairs these details with the adjoining waterfront park.
The operator estimates about 15 minutes on foot from Sakuragicho Station via Kishamichi. For a shorter approach, Bashamichi or Nihon-odori stations on the Minatomirai Line are each about six minutes away. These times lead to the destination, not the exact camera position.
Shops, restaurants and the No. 1 hall/spaces do not necessarily share opening hours; events and seasons may also alter them. Check the specific operator or programme before visiting. The photograph is an exterior view from 1 January 2025, not a current event or availability report. Bicycles may not enter the event plaza or Red Brick Park.
Draft review: 2026-11-02. Not a live opening, service or seasonal-condition guarantee.

Daywise Japan Travel is an independent, photo-led travel catalogue. We pair dated photography with practical, source-linked planning notes, from Kansai to selected destinations across Japan.
Landscape, street and festival photographs are dated 2024–2026 references. Older official collection images are separately labelled with capture year and display information, not presented as recent gallery views. Dates and sources accompany each photograph; they do not guarantee current displays, signage, access, crowds or seasonal conditions.
