What you will do
Choose a kimono and obi, have the staff dress you, then explore Kyoto. This is a dressing and rental experience, not a lesson in dressing yourself.
Time: Allow about 20–30 minutes to choose a kimono, 20 minutes for dressing and 20 minutes for hair styling, plus any waiting and sightseeing time.

From Kyoto Station, take the Karasuma subway line to Gojo. Walk about 3 minutes from Exit 1.

The hair-styling and hair-accessory package is ¥6,600 with an advance reservation (regular price ¥8,800). Other plans and extras vary.
