Tanimachi 4-chome (1-B / 9), Morinomiya (1 / 3-B), or JR Osakajokoen. Allow time to walk within the park.
Access checked: 2026-10-31
JR Osaka → Osaka Loop Line outer loop → Osakajokoen → walk through the park
At JR Osaka, look for the Osaka Loop Line outer loop toward Kyobashi/Tsuruhashi and confirm that your train serves Osakajokoen. Get off there and follow the official access map through the park to the main tower. Arriving at the station is not arriving at the tower; no walking or total journey time is estimated here.

Osaka Castle: start with the park
A park walk and a museum visit differ.
Osaka Castle keep · Nov 2025
Choose the part of Osaka Castle Park you want to explore before choosing your arrival station. JR Osakajo-koen and Morinomiya are options. The castle museum has separate admission conditions; do not assume every facility shares the same access rules. Follow park signs. The official park map prohibits drones. The photo shows the keep and ginkgo in November 2025, not current foliage or the whole park.

Before you go
The official park map distinguishes the castle, moats, Nishinomaru Garden and surrounding stations. Choose the part of the grounds you want to explore before selecting an arrival station.
JR Osakajo-koen and Morinomiya are among the station options shown for the park. Other approaches use Osaka Metro. These are choices for different parts of a large site, not interchangeable entrances directly beside the museum. Consult the official map and current signs for your route.
The castle museum has its own admission conditions and opening information. Nishinomaru Garden is also separately identified; do not assume every attraction shares the same conditions as a general park walk. Use the museum’s official site for current details rather than an old printed fare or schedule.
Follow on-site notices and keep paths clear while taking photographs. The official park map prohibits drones. This guide does not certify that all paths are open or that commercial photography is permitted everywhere.
