Weave a Bamboo Bell at Beppu’s Bamboo Crafts Center
Discover Beppu beyond its hot springs through bamboo craft. A short bamboo-bell workshop pairs well with displays of materials, weaving techniques and masterworks, showing how practical basketry became an art.

Weave bamboo pieces into a small bamboo bell in an approximately 40-minute workshop. It is intended for children from the middle elementary grades upward. Plan the workshop and exhibition visit as separate activities.
