Shape and Grill Sasakama at Kanezaki in Sendai
Make Sendai’s leaf-shaped fish cake from paste to a freshly grilled bite.

What you will do
Knead fish paste, shape it into a bamboo-leaf outline using a skewer and mould, then turn it as it grills. Staff guide the shaping and cooking before you enjoy the freshly made sasakama.

Getting there
From bus stand 1 at Arai Station on the Tozai subway, take route 16 Tsurumaki loop or route 18 toward Okada/Shinhama to Oroshimachi-Higashi 5-chome-kita, directly by the facility. About 40 minutes by public transport from Sendai Station.
