Uwano’s great katsura tree

Follow the roots with your eyes.

Broad roots spread through the woodland beneath a rising trunk. This photograph introduces Uwano’s great katsura from the ground up.

Let your eyes travel from roots to trunk and branches. From the walking paths, take time to notice how the tree’s form connects with the woodland around it.
