Takamatsu Coast, Kahoku, Ishikawa

Sky and horizon on Ishikawa’s Takamatsu Coast.

Orange and blue evening light reflects on wet sand at Takamatsu Coast in Kahoku, Ishikawa—not Takamatsu in Kagawa.

Let your eyes move slowly from the sky’s colours to the horizon. On a visit, take in the open sea and sky from the officially listed land-side deck and coastal walkway.

Getting there

About seven minutes by car from Takamatsu Station on JR West’s Nanao Line in Ishikawa, according to the prefecture’s August 2026 visitor guide. The roadside station is at Takamatsu SA on Noto Satoyama Kaido and also has access from local roads. Follow Satoumi-kan signs for the deck and walkway. Rail connections from major cities and the final walking time have not been verified.
