Getting there
Take Kaetsuno’s World Heritage Bus from Shin-Takaoka or Takaoka to Nousaku-mae. Check outbound and return schedules. Taxi from Shin-Takaoka: about 15 minutes.

Before you choose a date
Closures: Workshops close over New Year; exact 2026–27 dates are unverified. Separate factory tours close Sundays, public holidays and some Saturdays.
Language: Request foreign-language guidance by phone or email in advance.
- The 90-minute course is for junior-high ages and older; an adult must do most work when sharing with a younger child.
- Discuss wheelchair use, sensory/communication needs or limb injuries before booking. A multipurpose toilet is available.
- Arrive 15 minutes early and check in 10 minutes before starting. No participation after drinking alcohol. Confirm cancellation charges when booking.
