Konpeito Museum Yao: customize colorful sugar candy
Watch sugar candy change color and flavor in a miniature pan. At a confectionery maker in Yao, turn a sweet with Portuguese roots into your own edible souvenir.
大阪糖菓株式会社・コンペイトウミュージアム八尾 / Osaka Toka, Konpeito Museum Yao
What you will do
Use a 30 cm miniature pan to create two kinds of konpeito, choosing their colors and flavors. The basic plan yields 200 g per pan to take home. This is a color-and-flavor workshop, rather than the entire slow process of growing sugar crystals.
Time: About 60 minutes. Arrive 15 minutes early to choose colors and flavors.
