Walk about 20 minutes from Gujo-Hachiman Station on the Nagaragawa Railway, according to Gifu’s official tourism guide.

Closures: The workshop and Retro Art Museum close December 16–17, 2026. The venue closes December 29, 2026–January 2, 2027. It is otherwise normally open apart from the year-end/New Year break.

Ice-cream phone stand, including Retro Art Museum admission: high-school age and above ¥1,500; elementary/junior high students ¥1,300; preschool children ¥1,100. Non-participating companions pay separate admission.

Shop 10:00–17:00. Some holiday notices list last activity admission at 16:30; the normal-day cutoff has not been verified.
Booking & current availability
Normally book by phone or Jalan; the ice-cream activity also accepts walk-ins. On major holiday periods, advance bookings may stop. November 21–23, 2026 is same-day, on-site registration only. December 28, 2026 and January 3 and 9–11, 2027 also use same-day, on-site registration only.
