What you will do

At the Clay Works building, trim a clay ball, color it and polish it with a jar rim. It needs no firing and is finished that day.

Time: 60 minutes.

Getting there

From Meitetsu Tokoname Station, take a Chita Bus to INAX Live Museum-mae. Check the linked outbound and return timetables.

Closures: Closed Wednesdays except public holidays, and 26 December 2026–4 January 2027. Open on Wednesdays 6 and 13 January 2027.

Language: Workshop instruction languages are unverified; enquire before booking.

Designed for elementary-school ages and older. Preschoolers work with an adult; children through elementary school need a guardian. One accompanying person per participant.
Clay Works has a multipurpose toilet. Ask about workstation access and individual mobility needs.
Individual workshop changes/cancellations are free until one hour before the start; thereafter 100%. Operator cancellation/closure is fully refunded.

¥1,200 per sphere, tax included. No museum admission needed for the workshop alone; exhibitions cost extra.
