Ashio Copper Mine

Ride a small mine train into a real tunnel, then continue on foot through the history of mining. Life-size working scenes, copper-processing displays and coin-casting exhibits make Ashio’s industrial past tangible. This is a walking mine visit as well as a short train ride.

What to see

Watarase Keikoku Railway Tsudo Station / JR Nikko or Tobu-Nikko Station → your visit
