Hokkaido · Permanent cultural facility

Asahikawa City Museum

Across the river from Asahikawa Station, two gallery levels explore Ainu history and culture alongside northern Hokkaido’s people and natural environment. Reconstructed homes and everyday objects make this an accessible indoor introduction to life in a region shaped by severe winters.
